I hadn't been to Waveland in years so Mom and I paid a visit for breakfast. Think small town coffee shop in the middle of town: homey atmosphere, personal mugs lined up on the shelf ready for deployment, customers who seem to have been born there.
What else do you get but pancakes, sausage, and coffee? Everything was good. Notice that the pancakes have the perfect color, something that requires careful monitoring of the slickness of the grill. I asked to buy a C-SPAN mug but they said the mugs weren't for sale until after the caucuses. So now it should be open season on mugs...
